About Us

We are dedicated to allowing all kinds of filmmakers to share their voices. We intend to help other people share their stories while also creating our own. GMC Films specializes in horror and horror-adjacent stories.

Meet Our Team

Gabriel Cooper- Owner

Gabriel (they/them) is a director and cinematographer. They have directed projects such as Slashers For Dummies and the upcoming short Blood and The West. Gabe is also a 2025 graduate from Seattle Film Institute.

Katy Leard - Editor

Katy (she/her) is a multi-media journalist currently working as an event technician and editor for GMC Films. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with her bachelor's degree and currently works in Washington state.

Lost in the Woods

After Brian learns of a cool camping spot, he journeys out with his friends to find it. Little does he know that the woods are home to something more sinister.

Slashers For Dummies

While watching one of his favorite slasher films BEWARE THE MINOTAUR, James gets the idea to become his own slasher villain before Halloween.

Current Project

Blood and The West

This upcoming short film is Gabriel Cooper's college thesis film. It follows the story of Abigail Goldstone and her deputy Jay Morgan and their mission to find Abigail's long-lost wife.
